Born in the Maasai village of Losinoni Juu in Arusha, Gabriel Mollel ventured into the business in 1994 by helping his mother, a talented jewelry designer to make and sell Maasai crafts in Arusha town.

Since then, Gabriel has further developed his creative talents, moving into the realm of Maasai culture inspired fashion designs. His exclusive designs include beaded footwear for men and women, beaded and leather accessories for men and women and traditional and modern Maasai wedding dresses.

To create these truly unique designs, Gabriel uses local raw materials such as leather, khanga, kitenge, beads, bark cloth, seeds and seashels. Gabriel has showcased his designs in various events including 2011’s Miss Tourism, Miss IFM and Style Moto Moto at Double Tree.
